When a guest leaves, we don't just go in and clean — we do a walkthrough first. Are there cracks in the walls? Are the door handles intact? Are there scratches on the furniture? Stains on the carpet? The first thing we do when we enter the house is turn on the faucets — all of them. We check if there's a leak or if the water pressure is normal. Then we check the electrical outlets, turn lights on and off, and run the AC. Is the fridge cooling? Is the washing machine spinning? We test all appliances. If a guest has broken something, like a glass, plate, or a door handle — we photograph it all. Is there a cigarette burn on the sofa, a knife mark on the counter, or did they bump into the wall? We record whatever is there. These photos serve as solid proof if you need to open a deposit claim on Airbnb. We also pay attention to the smell of the house — did they smoke, is there a lingering food smell, was there a pet... We detect these and take action.
