After the guest leaves, we collect the used sheets, pillowcases, bed linens, and bathroom towels. We take them all to our own laundry facility — wash them at high temps on a hygienic cycle. Then we iron them, fold them, and bring them back to the house. We make the beds like a hotel and fold the towels nicely. We want the guest to walk into the room and say, 'Wow, it's like a hotel.'

Did you know one of the most common complaints in Airbnb reviews is the bed? If the sheets look old, there's a stain on the pillowcase, or the towel is stiff and worn — the guest will write about it. That's why we pay so much attention to textiles. We wash everything in an antibacterial cycle above 60 degrees. We use fabric softener so the sheets are incredibly soft. After ironing, we inspect them one by one — are there stains, are they faded, are they torn? If so, we don't use them; we replace them. If your bed linen set is too old, we warn you beforehand and suggest a replacement. It's a small expense, but it makes a huge difference in guest satisfaction.
